I’m running a generic Android box with 4.2.2 and Kodi (Jarvis) was working fine for a few months after I installed it. Just the other night it stopped working, Kodi loaded and flicked back to the Android home screen after a few seconds. Opening kodi again results in a blank black screen with no other progress.
I cleared the cache and also tried clearing the data plus a restart of the box. Kodi loads with the progress bar screen for first install but goes back to the Android home screen after reaching 100%. I get the black screen again if I try to open Kodi.
A reset of the Android box and starting over with kodi doesn’t work, I have the same problem as the above. For this reason I didn’t think it was a memory or cache issue. The Android box installs other apps from the play store fine.
I only had a few Add ons and only recently linked Trakt, this is the only change to the environment I can think of. I run Koodi on a Windows machine and Android tablet fine so I’m really puzzled. They’re also linked to Trakt.
Any help would be really welcome! The Android box just won’t run Kodi anymore.
