Hello All,
I’ve been using XBMC/Kodi for about 5 years and have never had any playback issues I couldn’t tweak to fix until the Krypton release came out. All streams and 1080p playback were flawless with Jarvis. When I updated to Krypton, anything marked HD or 1080 plays back super slow and choppy, skipping frames, the audio seems to be fine. I was hoping with the recent update on March 20th, this would be fixed as I’ve read similar issues from other users. Alas, nothing has changed.
In the past (jarvis), If a source was playing HD slowly I could at least download a quality file into my Seedbox and stream from there with no problems but this trick isn’t even working for me.
Here’s my debug log link:

I have adjust display refresh rate set to always (same issues if its off)
Sync playback to display is on (same issues if its off)
Same playback issues regardless of what my display is hooked up to (my mac as well as 2 different tvs)
My advancedsettings.xml are:
<advancedsettings>
<cache>
<memorysize>41943040</memorysize>
<buffermode>1</buffermode
<readfactor>10.0</readfactor>
</cache>
</advancedsettings>
I updated the format for Krypton but they were still the same settings in the old Jarvis format and had no issues.
Hope one of you has some insight for me! Let me know if you require any more info.
Thanks everyone!
