okay – I’m going to give my troubleshooting history so everyone knows what I have and haven’t done … but first details
I’m running Kodi 17 – OSMC distribution
I have uploaded a log file to http://paste.osmc.io/qusovoqowa
now – about 2 weeks ago or so (I posted a message to the forum for the YouTube plug-in for Kodi on 3-15 problem started 3-14) I started having issues watch
videos through my YouTube app on my Kodi/Pi
until about the middle of last week I thought it was a problem with the YouTube plug-in because my Plex plug-in worked just fine …
I decided to try a complete refresh of Kodi and add-ons and reinstalled OSMC on the SD card …
well – I can’t get any new skins – I can’t get any add-ons – it won’t allow add-ons to be installed from a USB drive
I have switched out the internet cables – I even bough a completely new Pi because I thought the issue was the hardware because I have seen
very few people posting about this
PLEASE – if anyone has ANY idea what is going on or if there is a fix for this (I’m thinking of maybe trying a different distribution of
Kodi to see if it’s just OSMC – but I’ve seen people post issues that have nothing to do with that version) … I am getting
to the point of wanting to smash my Pi level of frustration
I’m technically proficient – I know how to trouble shoot – I am NOT familiar with command line operations (I vaguely remember using
it with DOS back in the day) – the Kodi/Raspberry Pi was a convenient way for me to watch stuff on my television when I got
it and until recently it has been great … I just want this fixed … I just want to be able to watch stuff on my television
without having to move files with a USB drive
any insight would be greatly appreciated – I have been pulling my hair out about this for 2 weeks now …
