Kodi Quit unexpectedly ??

Hi guys, been using Kodi for a while deleted it and tried to re download it with the new Kodi v17 krypton. am using Mac OS X Sierra 10.12.4………I am not real computer savvy when it comes to like getting really into stuff but when I click on it to open it from the disk it says its not trusted which I click to override it then it says last time Kodi quit unexpectedly I clicked open and it says Kodi quit unexpectedly….please help need step by step on how to fix tried to uninstall and reinstall didn’t work step by step will help thanks guys
