new 17.1 on x96

can i download and run the new 17.1 on my x96 box? on the kodi page it only shows a down load for the x86 and when i go to the play store it wont let me down load it only says open like i already have it but on my system it shows the 16,1 build…..im a little confused and some what new. Any advice or help would be appreciated,Thank you.
