Kodi won’t play the majority of my videos? Unsupported formats?

Sorry if this is a simple question but it seems like Kodi has very limited video codec support or something is wrong with my setup. Is there some basic addon I’m missing? Here’s my logfile with debugging on and a clean install with no addons. Sorry if this is something basic, I searched the forum and the interwebs and found nothing on this.
