Cannot install

I only have Windows Vista and trying to upgrade the Kodi to Krypton from Jarvis.
I downloaded the upgrade file but when i try to run it says i need the platform update for Windows (KB971644).
I checked my system and it had installed this file over a year ago.
Any help would be grateful.
