PLEASE HELP!!!Sidebar controls and playback controls missing

Hello, currently I have multiple devices running Kodi, (firestick, firetv box, google play tv and nividia shield tv. On my Nvidia Shield TV box I have no playback controls when watching videos. Also no sidebar controls for navigation of videos. I am unable to bring up audio, videdo and subtitle options like audio offset, volume boost and subtitle offset. I have tried uninstalling an reinstalling Kodi. I have also tried different versions 16.0, 16.1, 17.0 and 17.1 . Still nothing works, Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated
