Hello,
I’m hoping the Linux / Kodi users out there can shed some light on this. I’ve already posted this question on the LibreELEC support forum, but I’m not having too much luck. Please help if you can – Linux is fairly new to me.
Mostly irrelevant, but my setup is: NUC6CAYH running LibreELEC 8.0.1 (Kodi 17.1) + Shield TV (Kodi 17.1) connected via Ethernet in a different room.
Android on the Shield TV is creating its obnoxious folders everywhere and ignoring TWO methods I have in place to combat their creation:
1) Veto Files – which, as I understand it, works for directories as well.
2) Cron Job
It works manually, but not via cron job (see screenshot below). Notice that the find command returns no results after I manually execute the remove command.
Even with BOTH of these in place, the Android folders are still appearing.
