Kodi won’t start

had kodi 16. then left it in place, and installed kodi 17 from win store. worked. then did creators update. then no kodi at all would work.uninstalled all the kodis, did a disk cleanup, reset the base, ran crap cleaner, cleaned the registry, added kodi fresh from windows store, no dice. same error.
