Kodi Has Stopped Working

Please can someone assist me, i have windows 7 professional, i was running Kodi Jarvis perfectly. I then downloaded Krypton. After having issues with installing services packs, i managed to get Kodi to install. when clicking on open Kodi, i get this message: Kodi has stopped working, check online for solution and close the program/ close program. Checking online does nothing and when clicking on the view problem details, the first line says: PROBLEM EVENT NAME: APPCRASH
Please Please help. I am unable to even go into Kodi to post a debug report as per what wiki asks me to!!
