Hi community
I am new here and a Old/new user of Kodi that i used on my Xbox a long long time ago (I loved it and was probably among the first users).
With all these new small affordable devices on the market I have decided to build a media center by setting up a nice new Kodi (v16 and now v17).
Nevertheless I love when my systems are perfectly setup and I have two issues:
1/ my Android box (beeline gt1) is connected via Ethernet and it looks like the proxy is not taken into account (I can put anything even (xyzfjfjdjdh.com as a proxy, a wrong login, pass…. , the displayed Public IP via the web viewer, which is a mini internet browser is still my original one). I have also tried via WiFi by the way … And it’s the same. I am sure that the proxy works.
2/ via the power menu I can quit Kodi but not shutdown my Android box … I don’t know why I don’t have that option (my device is rooted by the way)
