Hi,
I am using kodi on different machines on my network. All connect to a single server which hosts all the media filess and a MySql database storing the library.
Yesterday I tried to configure an additional kodi instance solely for dlna purposes which should be constantly running for publishing my library to my musiccast system.
Unfortunately this instance wakes my server all the time.
I broke it down to mysql being accesses by the kodi instance even when no dlna client is connected.
After I disabled mysql and went with a local library the server went to sleep as it should.
I suppose this might be a bug. I can’t see why a kodi instance running idle should contact the library sever at all.
Am I doing something wrong or must I stay with the local library?
Any ideas?
