Any idea why Kodi won’t load?

uninstalled and deleted Kodi. Downloaded from official site the new 17.1 install OK, but won’t run. Installed the old 15.1 version runs OK, attempted to upgrade to 17.1 and now same thing has happened, won,t load. I have had it running so it was fresh new install, now not having any of it.
