I recently upgraded my version of Kodi on my own PC to version 17, I pointed this version to use a central MySql DB as I have kodi 16 running on different devices around the house. Tablets, boxes etc. I found that Kodi 17 is creating a new DB within MySql.
I deleted the DB’s and let 17 recreate them and then loaded up a 16 device only to find that it recreated its own DB.
So, can I force kodi17 to use the DB that all my other devices are using or vice-versa or are the DB or version just not compatible anymore?
I’m sorry if this question has already been asked, I did do a quick search to see if there were any related topics.
