Can’t install Kodi on 2nd firestick

Would really appriciate someone’s help here. I installed Kodi fine on the firestick in my room. But I just tried doing the same on the one downstairs with adbLink, and even though it says ‘installed’ when I check there’s no Kodi on the downstairs firestick. The two firesticks have differnt IP addresses, though only slightly. But even so because they’re different I thought there shouldn’t be any confusion. And the two other ways you can install Kodi on firestick don’t work for me. With ES file explorer I can’t select the download because there’s no cursor. And with the apps2fire method it get’s to the end of the download & says it failed. Also just to mention I do have both debugging & apps from unsupported ‘on’.
