Kodi MXQ Box

I have a problem. I have a KODI MXQ box which was working perfectly. I just bought a new Vizio Smart 4K TV and when I hooked up KODI and turned on, the Home Screen Menu came up for a second but then went black with NO CONNECTION ERROR. I hooked up my original Kodi Fire Stick and it works fine. How do I get my MXQ box to work again. Tried resetting using the toothpick method and no go! Sad Need some help and input Thank You
