I’m trying to set up a premise server that connects to Kodi via TCP on port 9090. It pulls my library into the server and is meant for some home automation. I’ve had this set up before and it worked flawlessly. Now, my server can’t talk to Kodi (on the same physical machine). I can see the request go out but there is no reply. I tried to telnet into kodi on the same port and it stays at “Connecting to 192.168.1.83…..”. I’ve tried to telnet in from other PCs on my network or telnet into kodi on other machines with the same results. Webserver is on in Kodi with all of the right settings, tried with antivirus off, port forwarding in my router but nothing has worked. I’m using the latest Kodi release on a windows box running Win10 creators. Anyone else having the same issue or suggestions to sniff out the problem?
