Hope someone can help…..I dusted off a ‘New’ Windows 7 SP1 PC that had been bought a few years ago but never used and tried to install Kodi Krypton but it wouldn’t open (blank screen), so I tried Jarvis 16.1 after a full uninstall of Krypton using Revo Uninstaller but same problem occured with Kodi 16.1 .., error read ‘AppCrash’, with Error pointing to this file D3D10Level9.dll , so with much Googling I updated the pre-installed DirectX (can’t remember what version it was) to DirectX11, and then I went to device manager and tried to update all graphics drivers, but Windows said I had the latest versions of all drivers etc…..These currently read as: Display Adapters are HD6650M with Mobile Intel R HD Graphics 8.813.3.2000 (with driver date of 24/03/2011 ??)… So after doing all this, Kodi no longer gave the AppCrash error but now ‘opens’ with a totally blank screen. I only know it’s open because the only way to close it is with Task Manager.
I haven’t deleted the version I installed so the log could be read;
