Static noise

I just purchased a lg aristo and kodi worked but if I close it and open it makes a static noise when video comes on. I’ve uninstalled it and reinstalled it numerous times. Same outcome. My old phone the lg leon plays it fine because I didn’t have that set to auto update i guess. I really love kodi app but this is upsetting me that I can’t stop the static noise. If anyone can help me please. Thank you
