I have an HDHomeRun system that streams my tv channels and embeds a closed caption stream within it, but Kodi does not read this stream.
Attached is a sample news clip that has the closed captioning (you can see it when played through VLC > Subtitles > Closed captions 1, but you can’t see any subtitle tracks within Kodi).
I’m just looking to see if this has been explored before and if it is possible.
