Mac mini running Kodi issues with NAS

Hello,

English is my second language so my apologies for any mistakes.
I’ve searched on the QNAP NAS and Kodi forums for solutions and I couldn’t find it, here’s the issue:

My Mac mini running Kodi can’t add the Movies and TV shows located in my NAS Multimedia share.
On Kodi I can see my movie files only via videos/files as a list list but they don’t appear on the home menu as a normal Movies and TV Show item that is how usually it appears if I add my files from a local drive.

I tried to add a new video source using most options just to see if it works but still no Movies and TV Shows menu items appear on the Home menu. I just didn’t try NFS because I don’t know how to config it and also feels like the problem is something basic that I am overlooking. From what I’ve researched here NFS is to have a better connection in some cases.
I don’t know if something is wrong on My OSX network settings, or maybe inside Kodi or maybe my Router settings.
It used to work fine before QNAP.

The setup I have a t home:

The PC running Kodi works fine and access my QNAP files without any issues, only the Mac mini running Kodi that has issues, even when I connect it to the router via ethernet cable ( in case there was something wrong with the wireless part ).

Can someone tell me what configuration should I do on Kodi/Mac mini/Router to make it work properly?

Thanks in advance! Smile

Some details:

The Mac mini can access the QNAP files via finder without problems.
My Movies and TV shows are located inside the default QNAP multimedia share on their respective Movies and TV Shows folders.
