using yooutube app for party

I would like to lay my ipad on the table (could also use my android phone) and that all the people at my party can easy add music (think best via the youtube app) to the playlist.
I have several remote installed, but for all you need to add the new songs using the television screen, which makes it a bit user unfriendly.
I would like to only use the tablet or phone to add new songs.
anybody a good idea ?
