Greetings:
I have a media player box Kdlinks A400 running Android 5 with pre-installed Kodi v16.1. When playing movies with Vietnamese subtitle srt file, Kodi replaces characters as boxes and my subtitle setting is as shown in the link below.
Note: I edit the picture to show the correct Vietnamese subtitle in the second line.

Already try the following without success:
– Installed Vietnamese language package per Kodi-Wiki how to instruction.
– Re-encoded srt file to either UTF-8 or Unicode.
Is there a way to make Kodi display correctly Vietnamese subtitle srt files?
