How do I connect my Android box to my PC where my movies are stored?

I’ve been searching forever and can’t find anything. I assumed this was a common task that most people did.
I had XMBC installed about ten years ago, but now updated Kodi and want to access it from my android box.
How do I set it up so I can access my library on my PC? I’ve been using Plex the last few years.
