cant kodi

Can anyone help i can not download and install kodi 17 .1 – 17.3 on 2 new mxq pro + android boxes 6.0.1 firmware i tried from google playstore and koditv.com it will not put kodi in Downloaded apps , running apps or on homescreen ,the only way i can find it and open it is by going to appinstaller then scan there and i have to install it from there every time to open it . I have read and read but cant find anything about a solution….thanks for any help
