Currently, If I start exploring files through the Video menu and land for instance into the following path : /my_drive/various_doc/, and that then I want to display music files instead of videos, I can’t find other way but coming back to the home menu and starting the browsing process again from scratch, using the correct category (i.e. Music in this example).
Is there an existing function which would enable to shift from one category display to another one, while keeping the current browsing windows opened and at the same path ?
I remember I had been able to do this using the skin Artic Zephyr in an earlier version of Kodi (bundled with Open Elec 6.xx), through an option located either the context menu or the sidebar menu (not sure anymore).
However I don’t want to use this skin anymore, and I would appreciate if someone had an idea on how to achieve such thing with the skin Estuary.
FYI, I now use Kodi 17.3 (LE 8.02 on Rpi2).
