Kodi 17.3 Not Working on my Amazon Firestick After Repeat Installs

I’ve installed 17.3 many times and it still will not work on my Amazon Firestick. It’s on the stick but when I click on it to bring it up it goes to the initial Kodi 17.3 loading screen then right back out to Amazon’s home screen. I’ve cleared cache, I’ve cleared data, I’ve deleted it and reinstalled numerous times and it still won’t work. I’ve used ES Explorer and Downloader. Still, nothing works and on ES Explorer I get an “app did not install” message. I’ve even tried a back door by downloading it to Wondershare MobileGo to put it on the stick and it still won’t work. It just goes through the initial process like Kodi is opening up, it’ll say preparing Kodi for the initial run and then back out to Amazon’s home screen. Unfortunately, I deleted my previous version of Kodi 16.1 in order to download this newest version and apparently Kodi’ has deleted all the older versions from their site.
