17.3 Won’t Install from Zip

I’ve been trying to install some addons in Krypton 17.3 on a Windows 10 laptop. When I select “install from zip” I get the appropriate list but when I click on a specific repo I never get an enabled notification and Kodi returns to the previous page with “install from zip” highlighted. Just to make sure I looked in the “install from repository” list and there has been no change. Anyone have ideas how to rectify this?
