Kodi 17.3 crashing when installing fusion

I’m brand new to all this. I baught the v88 4k and I think I intalled kodi correctly. I’ve added http://fusion.tvaddons.ag as a source and when I go to: add ons – (box button at the top) – install from zip file – fusion – start here – (the zip that is in that folder) and the dialouge box closes and… kodi freezes, the time no longer moves forward and I can’t select any buttons or go back. I can click the home button and exit out, but when I try to reopen kodi, it says kodi has crashed.
Any help would be much appreciated. I won’t be able to try anything till tomorrow
