Picture is in top left corner

Hi i have recently installed Openelec 8.02 on my Acer Aspire E1-510. the install was fine , but the picture is in the top left of the screen using a HDMI cable.

Ive tried installing different Openelec versions but makes no difference.

Ive tried using a VGA cable and connecting to my pcs monitor, its fills the screen better but still not the whole screen.

Ive tried creating xorg.conf files but anytime i add the file to \\192.168.1.124\Configfiles folder Openelec doesnt ever get past the Openelec splash screen. Maybe im not doing it right?

Someone said to try removing the HDMI cable while Openelec is booting then plug it in after 20 seconds, i tried that but then a just get a black screen.

My Acer Aspire is an Intel Celeron N2820

Also i dont have any bigger resolutions in settings than 1360 x 768
