Computer freezes until hard reset

So, Far, Kodi 17 beta has been very stable with my computer. some very minor qliches. But twice while watching recorded television program or looking in Kodi setup, the computer froze completely. I was unable to do anything until I gave a hard reset to my computer case. Then it works fine. I have an AMD 8 core cpu, AMD HD-7850 video card, 16 gbytes of RAM, and 850 Gold Power supply with Windows 10 Pro version 1511.
