I’ve recently updated to Kodi 17.3 and noticed a couple of things:
1) When audio needs synching (in my case it was +700ms) it makes the video stutter/slowdown. I’m fairly sure this was not something I noticed in previous versions. Not 100% sure cause it’s pretty rare I sync something by that much.
Tried some stuff and I believe turning on hardware acceleration fixes it. It’s a setting I never required before.
2) I can change Deinterlace through the video OSD to on/off/half (not sure what the default is cause it just says Deinterlace). But unlike previous versions of Kodi it resets to Deinterlace (ON?) after Kodi is restarted.
Personally, I don’t ever require deinterlacing, and if it’s always on it just dulls the picture. I think I managed to bypass that by changing the guisettings.xml setting to “0”.
