What setting controls whether or not a picture/thumbnail of a video is displayed in the main VLC player when the video is running outside the player (‘Embedded video’ not selected)?
Some of the videos display a picture in the main VLC player window while the video plays outside the player. Others do not.
If this is the ‘Display video snapshot preview’ setting (which is enabled), why is the display of the ‘snapshot’ inconsistent?
I do not know how to attach a screenshot to show an example of my issue. Hopefully, this desciption makes sense.
