Issue kind of solved, for me after searching the web a bit…
I added a new favorite server:
– selected SMB protocol
– inserted the local ip of my server (i.e 192.168.xxx.xxx)
– inside the username textbox I put username:password (i.e john:SuperSecretPasswd)
and saved
After a refresh now I see the content
So looks like a small bug, since it does not prompt for credentials, but it appears there is a work around
