What would the affect be of setting both the aspect ratio AND the crop both to 21:9 ?
You can’t have both. Because most videos have a 16:9 aspect ratio and many films a 2.35:1 / 2.39:1 one, the latter is close to 21:9 but not exactly the same.
So you have to choose: either you want to see the whole original image and then you’ll get black bars, or you want the whole screen to be filled which means you have to zoom in and then you cut a part of the original image.
