UPDATE: I fixed the interface appearance problem by unchecking the box next to “Android TV Interface > Change UI to TV adapted theme.”
However I’m still unable to play a streaming video. The video starts to play but it only plays for about 2 seconds before stopping and returning to the streaming address entry box.
Sometimes when this happens I get the following error message:
“Something went wrong with VLC. VLC closed because this app has a bug. Try updating this app after its developer provides a fix for this error.”
