Don’t use SMB. It sucks for streaming. And yes, this can affect lower bandwidth streams. HTTP or FTP should work fine.If you can’t change protocol, increase the buffer size of the prefetch module to more than the size of any of your MP3s.
But the problem is only occurring whilst trying to stream Mp3 files on SMB. On the otherside, it’s not happening in FLAC files at all. That’s a bit weird because FLAC is much larger file compared to mp3
