I’ve a samba shared directory containing thousands of MP3 files, organized in directories/subdirectories.
When accessing it with VLC, the app randomly goes back to the previous screen; e.g., when I’m browsing a subdirectory, it returns to the root directory; when I’m playing a song, the player closes and returns to the directory content; if I’m on the main page, VLC closes.
It’s the same beahviour as pressing the “go back” button on the remote controller; it’s a random but very frequent problem, and it can occour multiple times within a few minutes. It’s very frustrating.
I’m using VLC on my Android smartphone as well but this works normally on the same samba directory.
Any suggestion?
