VLC for Android and Chrome OS • on Pixel 8a getting:Multiple Media Cannot Be Played

I can’t play my mp3 files. VLC sends the error msg: Multiple Media Cannot Be Played
When I use a different app everything plays just fine.

help…I have been using vlc since time began on my PC and I want it on android.
