I discovered a player for TV set-top boxes – Vimu Media Player. It solved ALL the problems described in this topic!
1. MPEG2 and VOB are no longer slow.
2. AVC and h264 formats DO NOT slow down.
3. TS rewind works the SAME AS in VLC v3.5.4. It’s better than nothing.
4. Vimu sees DLNA.
5. Vimu is capable of playing files one at a time or all from a folder, which is useful when watching clips.
I tested version 10.70 and recommend this player!
