Hi,
I’m getting the above error (“One or more items failed to play. Check the log for more information about this message”) when I try to play movies from my external HDD, that is connected to the Raspberry Pi via USB. I can stream movies from Disney and Netflix, as well as movies that are stored on my NAS. It was working yesterday, but not today.
System info: LibreELEC 11.0.6 (kernel: Linux 6.1.74)
Skin: Arctic: Zephyr – Reloaded (v2.0.5)
Logfile: https://paste.kodi.tv/eqizasawig.kodi
I activated debug logging, and tried opening a few movies, but all I get is log messages like this:
Quote:2024-07-14 18:55:00.166 T:1189 error <general>: Open – Unhandled exception
2024-07-14 18:55:00.166 T:1189 error <general>: Open – Error opening /media/My Passport/Movies/Gor II (1988)/Gor II (1988).m4v
2024-07-14 18:55:00.166 T:1189 error <general>: InputStream: Error opening, /media/My Passport/Movies/Gor II (1988)/Gor II (1988).m4v
It’s also not a problem with the m4v format, it won’t open mkv’s either. Even the movie I was watching yesterday from the very same HDD gives the same error message.
What I’ve tried so far:
I tried clearing the cache several times, restarting, as well as starting movies directly over file manager, but no luck. (I can still open pictures that are stored on that hard drive, though, so it works in principle). I also installed the EZ Maintenance+ addon and tried a few of the maintenance options there (clearing cache, packages, etc). Once a movie from the HDD did start playing, but after stopping it and starting it up again it would give the error message in the title again. I’m really at a loss right now. Anything else I can try?
