I’ve used Kodi since before the name change. I’ve used Backup many time over the years. I was trying to clone my system from one ONN 4k Pro to another. I am using a USB stick. I found I couldn’t backup directly to the the USB stick. I had to backup to internal memory (Downloads). I was then able to copy the backup from Downloads to the USB stick using file manager. I then went to the new ONN 4K Pro box. I tried restoring the backup from the USB stiick but that failed. Then I copied the file from the stick to internal memory on the ONN box using file manager. When I try to restore it from there, I see it saying that it is gathering files, but it immediately sends me back to the backup program. I suspect it is a file protection issue . I tried to read the log file (not my forte) and couldn’t find an error message. Is there a way to reduce the volume info returned in the logs? I tried changing a few log settings but it didn’t seem to make much difference.
I don’t know the process to upload the logo file so some pointers there would be a start
Any advice would be appreciated.
