I wake up and every morning to Kodi, and a randomized playlist of shows mainly from 2000s era Comedy Central starts to play. In many cases, I will just leave this on all day.
Its starting to feel like something is missing: “time slots” to recreate the “feel” of a channel.
Say i wake up, and from 8-930 (or whatever) I want random Reno 911 and Tosh.0 episodes to play. Then at 930, only random episodes of Chapelle. At 11, a random movie plays. Following that, for 2 hours a combination of random Reno, Tosh, Simpsons, South Park… etc plays until…
Is there any way to accomplish this? Smart playlists can only get you so far, but this feels like it could be a valid feature request for smart playlists (?)
Regardless, I would love to accomplish my ultimate end goal of recreating the “feel” of a cable channel. Heck I probably would eventually add my favorite commercials every once in a while if I could.
