I’m trying to get YouTube 4k videos working on a fresh install of Kodi 21 stable.
So I installed the addon, which also automatically installed inputstream adaptive (both from the official Kodi repo). I changed the max resolution from 1080p to 4k in the YouTube addon’s settings, but I never get the 4k video stream from YouTube.
I get HDR and 1080p resolution, though. My test videos definately exist in 4k resolution. I’ve tried all possible settings in both addons. Should this work at the moment with this simple default setup or am I missing something?
