Hi, I hadn’t realized my account didn’t automatically subscribe me to a post I created (like every other forum I’ve ever joined) nor did it automatically send me an email or pm when there was a reply.
My suggestion is those defaults are changed just for new users, to Auto Subscribe to posts created or replied to, and to automatically send an email. That way new users will get notified and if they don’t want to be subscribed to their own posts they can undo those settings. Lucky for me I went back into your forum for some reason and found someone had replied with the answer I needed, normally I just wait till I see an email.
Anyway, for new users that would probably be ideal. By now all your veterens know they aren’t subscribed nor getting alerts on responses… Maybe..
