The default estuary skin can be navigated from a touch screen only. One of the important navigation functions is the ability to go back, which is often accomplished with a back button, or a backspace button on the keyboard. For example, if I go into music and am viewing things, and I want to get back to the main menu to instead watch a video, I need a way to back out of that menu. A back button can do that.
In the Estuary skin, tapping the top left corner of the screen does a good job of going back when I need to.
In the Aeon Nox: Silvo skin, it does not, leaving me completely stuck in places without a way to back out unless I connect a keyboard.
I could add a button to my setup and program it to send the back command, and I suppose there may be many benefits to doing so, but I’m still tinkering around and reviewing all my options. For me at this time the most important thing I’m observing is, one skin allows a certain navigation that allows the use of a touch screen without a keyboard or extra buttons, this skin doesn’t.
Is this the intended design? Please advise.
