Hello everybody,
I’m completely lost and hope somebody can help me out. I’ve installed kodi on a brand new WaipuTV stick. It’s Android 11, so I had to set xbmc_env.properties to an alternate path in order to make kodi read my AdvancedSettings.xml, which I need as thumbnails and videodatabase are stored on my NAS. The IP of the NAS is 192.168.0.113 and it’s name is “Mediaserver”.
As I can see in the log, kodi successfully reads my AdvancedSettings.xml file and also manages to connect to the database (which is provided as IP instead of the name for testing reasons). However, it somehow cannot access any smb-path which uses the name of the NAS, which is “Mediaserver”. In the log, I can see that kodi tries to connect to 192.168.0.86 which used to be the adress of my NAS in the old apartment – this is completely weird. I have no idea what is going on here and how to fix it.
BTW, when I add “smb://mediaserver/” as a source I get no route to the NAS neither.
Any help appreciated.
Daniel
