Maximum timeshift buffer length Question

Is there a hard-coded limit for the maximum length of a running timeshift buffer?
From memory, I believe at some point a hard maximum of 4 hours was set, but I can’t find evidence of that. Maybe @phunkyfish knows..?
To be clear, I don’t mean the amount that can be set in ffmpeg direct, but rather a hard set limit in iptv simple.
