kodi on firestick connected to tv opens random settings

hi, i have a problem every time i go to a friend’s house and take firestick with me to watch some movies on kodi.
as soon as i open kodi and play a movie via addon they start opening randomly every so many settings of the various addons, either on screen or in the bottom corner as a warning.
It’s a problem only with Kodi because with other apps like youtube or disney+ it doesn’t give me any problem.
Ah of course at home on my TV everything works great
